Before sending a wire

Confirm the beneficiary’s legal name, account number, bank name, routing or SWIFT information, address, and payment purpose.
Verify instructions using a trusted contact method. Email accounts can be compromised, and fraudulent payment instructions may appear legitimate.
Submit instructions before the applicable cutoff time. Processing and availability may vary by destination, currency, intermediary banks, and receiving bank.
